Immuta's access summary export is a new governance feature that provides an automated, asset-first view of your data security posture. It replaces manual auditing across systems with a normalized export of current access and policy data, ready for analysis in your existing tools.

The access summary export eliminates this friction by delivering a comprehensive, normalized export directly into your preferred data platform and analytical tools, ready for analysis.
What’s included
The access summary export automatically generates and delivers detailed metadata about your data sources, users, and policies as normalized Parquet files. This export reflects “realized access," the final outcome of all applied Immuta policies.
- Data source & column metadata: Inventory of all tables, views, and columns under Immuta management
- Policy outcomes: A unified view of the final access outcome for every user against every asset, including the specific policy logic that granted or restricted it.
- Tag intelligence: Visibility into which assets are tagged with sensitive data labels such as PII, HIPAA, or financial data.
- User & policy context: Metadata on users and governance rules, including guardrails, grants, and masking policies.
