At-a-glance metrics on the Access Requests page
Three summary tiles on the Access Requests page now give governors visibility into request queue health.
- Pending requests: A live count of every request awaiting a decision.
- Average age of pending requests: Average time pending requests have waited for a decision. This is the key metric for SLA tracking. A rising number can signal stalled requests before they become compliance or audit risks.
- Stewards needing to take action: Counts the stewards who currently have at least one pending request assigned to them. Hover over the tile to see the top individuals or groups by request volume.
Why this matters
Governors are accountable for making sure data access requests are worked and decided on within a reasonable timeframe. Until now, that meant manually digging through the request table to spot bottlenecks.
These tiles surface the three questions governors ask most:
- How many requests are open?
- How long have they been waiting?
- Who needs a nudge?
With this information at the top of the page, you can identify and address backlog and accountability issues before they become a problem.
