We're rolling out a set of improvements to Connections for Databricks Unity Catalog and Snowflake that give Immuta admins better visibility into integration health and more control over policy, tags, and data objects.
Integration settings now live directly within connections. Each connection displays one of three health states: ACTIVE, INACTIVE or UNHEALTHY, so you can quickly assess the status of your integrations at a glance.
A new per-object setting controls whether Immuta pushes policy down into the platform for a given data object (equivalent to enabling or disabling a data source). You can toggle this individually per object, and you'll now have visibility into how child objects are configured. A Custom label appears when a downstream object's setting differs from its parent.
Each data object now has its own detail page, including a direct link to the corresponding data source.
You can now assign or remove tags individually or in bulk at the database or schema level. Tags are inherited by all attached data sources.
The behavior of the New tag is now configurable in App Settings. By default, it is enabled for columns and disabled for data sources.
Connections in an UNHEALTHY state can now be force-deleted.
