Immuta Request app integrated into Atlan
The Immuta Request app is now integrated directly into Atlan, allowing data consumers to move from discovery to access in a single workflow. With a built-in “Request Access” button, users can initiate access requests from within the Atlan interface, while Immuta manages the full request–approve–provision lifecycle.

A “Request Access” button is embedded directly in the Atlan interface, enabling users to request access from the asset they are viewing.
Access requests initiated in Atlan are handled end to end by Immuta, which manages the request–approve–provision lifecycle, including managing exceptions to masking policies.
Why it matters
Previously, Atlan users could discover metadata but often relied on manual, slow workflows to access raw data.
This integration connects discovery directly to access requests, removing friction between identifying an asset and requesting permission to use it.
Requests initiated in Atlan leverage users’ existing familiarity with their primary catalog while ensuring established governance tools are not bypassed.
