Snowflake data policy impersonation will be enabled beginning Monday, February 23, for all customers who have not opted out before that date.
If you would like to opt out of this feature release, contact your Immuta representative before February 23.
Impersonation is now compatible with the latest version of Immuta’s Snowflake integration, which uses low-row access policy mode for improved overall performance.
With this update,
Impersonation is available for data policy access only
Administrators can impersonate users to view the row- and column-level restrictions applied to them
The impersonator’s subscription policy access remains unchanged while impersonating another user
This release follows Immuta’s standard behavior change release process.
Opt-in period: January 22 – February 22
On by default period: February 23 – March 22
Enabled for all accounts: March 23
